Cancer Full Moon illuminates the inner emotional landscape, family and areas of nurturing.  Ask yourself "who is my tribe?" "Where do I feel nurtured?" "How to I experience support and protection?"  "How can I drop even more deeply into my intuition?" These are supportive questions of contemplation for Cancer Moon timing.  When you listen from intuition for the answers, then take action that supports moving toward your goal.

The Full Moon at 18 Cancer is at 11:30 p.m. PST or 9:30 p.m. Hawaiian time on January 8, 2012. For locations in the US Mountain States east to the International Date Line, the Full Moon occurs on January 9th (7:30 am UT).

The Sun in Capricorn is the opposing sign of Cancer. Opposing Zodiac signs serve as compliments, a yin and yang, like two sides of the same coin. At Full Moon, the Sun is always in a complimentary zodiac sign of the Moon. Since the Moon embodies and reflects back to Earth the light of the Sun, the Full Moon each month is a unique opportunity to explore this dynamic polarity of the opposing signs in the zodiac.
