This month, the Sun in detailed oriented Virgo illuminates the Full Moon in empathic, dreamy, unstructured Pisces at 19 degrees, close to midnight on the 11th in Hawaii, and on September 12, 2011 for the rest of the world. 

As Moon meets Ceres in Pisces, and opposes the Sun & Venus in Virgo, there is added emphasis this 2 week lunation on the feminine aspects of nurturing (Ceres) and artistic creation (Venus).

Powerful manifestation aspects continue in September with other planetary patterns in a Grand Earth Trine. This energetic pattern began just days before the Virgo New Moon. We will continue that juicy discussion here. 

The three Earth signs are Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. In general, Earth signs represent the tangible world: our bodies, our homes, health, wealth and business. Further, creation and manifestation intentions are amplified this month with this powerful Grand Earth Trine (see chart below).

Sunday August 28, 2011 (Mon 8/29 for South America, east to the International Date Line) celebrates the Virgo New Moon.  Moon conjoins Sun at 5 degrees Virgo, with Venus close by at 8 Virgo.  Virgo evokes patterns, organization and order. Add Venus to the mix and you have a strong element of artistry and beauty in these grand designs. 

There is a Grand Earth Trine this New Moon (see below), with 5 planets represented in the Earth signs of Virgo, Capricorn and Taurus. Pluto(1) lingers near 4 Capricorn and Jupiter (2) is its expansive self at 10 Taurus. Meanwhile, Sun, Moon and Venus (3) in Virgo complete the triangle.

This is an opportunity for communication from the heart.  Mercury is still retrograde until Aug 26th, so it may be an opportunity to reflect on the past where your communication has been less than heart-felt.  Sun in Leo season generally relates to radiating your passionate, playful, spontaneity.  However, this month, with Venus and retrograde Mercury so close to the Sun, suggests a more inward time of exploring creativity of the heart.
