The month of May nears its half way point (these months are sure flying by) as the Scorpio Full Moon takes center stage. Each year, the Scorpio Full Moon lights up the mid-spring sky (or mid-autumn sky for those down-under). Here, we are encouraged to go deeper into our life force, exploring new ways to use this precious vibration in our day-to-day lives.

Full Moon arrives on the 14th at 9:16 am in Hawaii, 12:16 pm on the West Coast; 3:16 pm on the East coast; 7:16 pm UTC; and on the 15th from western Russia east to the international date line.

So, is everyone breathing now that July is over?  With so many planets in water signs, emotions have been super intense, especially the last 2 weeks of July.  Mars and Jupiter are just now separating and by early August this epic water trine formation breaks apart. The grand water trine includes Neptune in its home sign of Pisces, Saturn slowly moving through Scorpio, and Jupiter and Mars in Cancer. In August, Jupiter continues its alignment with the ever powerful cardinal activating agents, the Uranus Pluto Square.

The Cardinal signs are the signs that begin a season.They are Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. Since Mars, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto are all in Cardinal signs, this is symbolic of initiating empowered change. The other day I was flying to Hawaii after 3 weeks in Japan. Below me wrapped in darkness was the mighty Pacific, an immense body of water beyond comprehension; its liquid power holding tremendous sway over the weather systems sweeping planet Earth. Above this massive water engine brilliant star fields filled the night sky.

Scorpio and Sagittarius framed my window, standing upright in the south...starry sentinels pointing to Galactic Center...the engine fueling our galaxy's movement. As above...so below. In that moment I realized these enormous energy fields, both close and afar, set the tone and direction of our day to day human choices and experiences while barely registering on our human perception radar. Fortunately, Astrology, as a cosmic weather report, helps us understand and correlate these universal movements and cycles into form so we can make sense or anticipate the ebb and flow of energy of what lies before us.

It's been quite a month. The building surge of Aries mojo in late March strongly indicated life would be intense come April. Seems the Universe did not let us down. Abundant Aries aggression and assertiveness in the field does not make for a calm, flowing cycle even in the best of circumstances.
