Scorpio New Moon - fuel for relationships

"The ultimate test of a relationship is to disagree, but hold hands."
Alexandra Penny, American Author

New Moon today, November 5th, at 13 degrees Scorpio. This is the same degree where Venus began its recent retrograde journey into the archetypal \ underworld. More here:

Usually, New Moon times are rather inward. A period of reflection, receiving nurturing self-care, starting new projects and creating intentions for the 4 week Moon cycle are its general strategies. However, this inward movement actually goes deeper, due to the Venus in Scorpio/Libra effect occurring through November 18th.

Here's the New Moon chart:

This is a relatively unattached Sun/Moon vibration as no major aspects are triggered. Nonetheless, that Venus' ultimately moves back to the same degree occupied now by the Sun/Moon implies events in your life occurring around this Moon phase will be indicative of what gifts this Venus retrograde cycle offers you in the realm of shared resources and intimate relationships.  Add Scorpio fuel to the mix and voila' - intensity, passion, irritation and a whole host of emotions come spilling out to deepen the journey.

Venus moves back into the sign of Libra on the 7th, finally stationing direct at 27 Libra on November 18th. The "slow motion" effect of traversing very few degrees over a longer period of time is akin to intensifying, or increasing the vibratory energy.

Here, because Libra includes the realm of relationships and Venus rules Libra, added emphasis (intensity) is placed on your intimate unions over the next 3 weeks. Do your intimate relationships feel alive to you? Are there close connections in your life lacking energy, or no longer working? These are questions Venus triggers in her quest to add depth to the soul connections that make life enriching and satisfying for you. On November 30th, Venus returns to Scorpio providing the answers your inner Scorpio seeks.

Lastly, Chiron moves direct today at 26 degrees Aquarius eventually reaching Pisces in early February 2011. Chiron is the archetype of the "inner healer". In Aquarius, its mission over the past 6 years has focused on the Aquarian themes of philanthropic and social service within the World Community. This energy has been a significant trigger for the social networking now taking place around the World. As with any important social change, up's and down's occur. Perhaps greater clarity about Chiron's ultimate effect on the world community will reveal itself over the next 3 months. Stay tuned....
